Park County licenses installers annually and keeps a separate list of people qualified to evaluate your soil. In Gallatin County a registered installer must be on site during every installation. These are the current rosters — being on them means licensed, not necessarily good.

Park County list is the 2026 roster, valid through 31 January 2027 — call Park County Environmental Health at (406) 222-4145 to confirm current status. Gallatin roster is the February 2025 list from Gallatin City-County Health, (406) 582-3120. We publish phone numbers as the counties do; email addresses are omitted to keep them out of scrapers.
Before you call anyone, read the septic guide — the site evaluation comes first, and on raw land it belongs before you close, not after.
